To all subscribers who are submitting tips from this web page please read the following information carefully...

It is MANDATORY that you enter your tip using the following format and instructions. Otherwise, you tip may/will not be sent because it was not recognized by out paging software or server.

Your tip must be typed in all CAPITAL LETTERS and you must begin your message as follows: TIP>XXX (Where xxx is your FNN ID number.)

Please follow our standard paging formation which is as follows:
  • City or township

  • County (if outside the Southeast Michigan area)

  • The numerical address with cross streets if available

  • Size up of situation

  • Any mutual aid or assistance requests

  • Frequency or TRS talk group.

  • End your tip with your FNN number in parenthesis

Sample submission:
 

TIP>400 OAK PARK (OAKLAND): KENOSHA x NORTHEND. DWELLING FIRE W/ FIRE THRU THE ROOF ON ARRIVAL. WATER PROBLEMS ALSO. MON: 158.775  (400)

Please compose your tip in the manner you normally see them on your pager, clear, concise and to the point. You may send updates or finalize an incident as applicable at any time.

Your tips are important to us and they will be pages to the appropriate network ASAP if they are entered properly.
